COMPUTER LITERACY

Our children have no access to computers in the region.

Local schools do not have the resources to provide any computer education.

We are extremely excited to see the beginning of our computer training classes.

At the current time, our classes introduce kids to the basics of computing:

Topics taught include the folowing:

• Building blocks of a computer machine (memory, CPU, hard drive, keyboard etc).,
• Difference between hardware and software
• How software runs on a computer
• Using a computer for basic tasks ( handling files, configuring settings etc)
• Using basic apps ( such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

Hands-on supervised training is provided by our instructors.
