Raiee Foundation is a registered Public Trust Act, ( BPT 1950), operating as a non profit, Non-Government Organisation (NGO) that is dedicated to improving quality of life by providing high quality programs related to education, women empowerment, and healthcare for villages in south Maharashtra, India.
Having firsthand knowledge of the challenging conditions, Raiee Foundation was founded in 2013 by Mrs. Tilottama and Ms. Natasha Jadhav-Patil and has since grown and expanded to include five areas of focus and that includes Education, Classical dance and music, Computer Literacy, Women empowerment and Health and Hygiene.
The Raiee Foundation is located in a small under developed village of Kanadi, in the state of Maharashtra. Basic infrastructure such as quality schools, reliable public transportation, reliable electricity, water, and hospitals are still inaccessible for most of the community.
This area happens to be the hometown of Mrs. Jadhav-Patil and she holds a strong emotional attachment toward this area. In 2013, Mrs. Jadhav-Patil took upon herself the cause and started educational and extracurricular activities on the hill-top land that was called "Raiee" by villagers which gave foundation its name- Raiee Foundation. All this became possible due to active participation and unwavering support from the community.
